Hello PowerShell friends,

We would like to share with you the updates/news about our upcoming events this month and in June!

May evening Meetup – Thursday, 25th of May

Fujitsu will be hosting us at their Baker Street. Thanks very much to Nick Parlow for arranging it for us last minute.

Ebru and Gael returned super excited about their time at PSConfEU and want to share with you what they’ve learned and experienced.

Hands on PowerShell Workshop – Saturday, 17th of June

Many of you have asked us to host workshops and we’ve listened. Saturday 17th of June will be our first event. Kindly hosted by Monster at their office in Chancery Lane. Glenn Turner, thanks so much for your help.

We’ll have two parallel tracks for our half-day event starting at 9:30-13:30, including one break for refreshment and snacks.

One track will be 101 level PowerShell: Covers language basics and is targeted towards everyone who is early in their PowerShell learning journey. This track will be led Ebru Cucen, and supported by Daniel Krebs.

The second track will be for the more advanced folks in our group with the 1st session will be led by Gael Colas (CDM MVP) diving deep into PowerShell objects and the 2nd led by Martynas Valkunas (Azure MVP) getting you up to speed on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) in Azure. Both sessions will be supported by Iain Brighton (RES MVP).

Please bring your laptop to follow along and to get the most out of this event. We’ll be providing power strips on the tables, Wi-Fi access, refreshments and snacks. No lunch will be provided to keep the event free.

The event is capped at 30 attendees which we hope to split somewhat evenly between the two tracks to ensure we can help you if you get stuck.
During the breaks and at the end we would like to encourage everyone to network, mingle, ask questions and show off your work.

Only 12 seats left – https://www.meetup.com/PowerShell-London-UK/events/238972765/
